Ok, I took a quick inventory of what I own, what must go and what must stay. Here is the keepers list:
Clothes (34 Things)
Camera, lens, flash, tripod (4 Things, I am counting the memory cards, batteries and cords as a part of the camera)
Backpack, Camera Bag and Hiking backpack (3 Things)
Bike, Helmet and lock (3 Things)

Sweatshirt, Rain Coat, Winter Coat (3 Things)
Printer (1 Thing, cords and paper count as a part of the printer)
Belt (1 Thing)
Wallet (1 Thing, all contents count as a part of the wallet, not that there is much…)
Keys (1 Thing, all keys count as the collective “keys”)
School Supplies (1 thing, I don’t want to effect my school work so school supplies count as 1 thing, these will be pens, notebooks etc…)

Water Bottle (1 Thing)
Flash light (1 Thing)
Pocket Knife (1 Thing)
Deodorant, Soap, Tooth brush, tooth paste, nail clippers, razor, shaving gel, shampoo, comb (10 things)
Trusty ol’Soxs hat (1 Thing)
Total = 97 Things
Not bad for round 1. I would like to bring it down to 85 items to leave room for things that I am not anticpating as I start college (like a shower caddy or a fridge or something like that).
Some of the things that I am going to get rid of (in case you want to buy) are:
TV (Selling)
PS2 + Games (Selling)
DVD Player (Selling)
DVD Collection (Selling)
Point and Shoot camera (Selling)
A Bunch of Clothes (Donating)
Stuff I have gotten on trips (Not sure yet, probably gifting, YIPPEE Christmas shopping done in July! Mom would be proud)
Luggage (giving back to the folks :-))
Kitchen stuff (storing at the folks place)
Furniture (some going to the folks and some donating/throwing away)
All the crap that I have gathered (throwing away)
The thing that I am going to probably get rid of but will miss the most, my golden frog:

Well, that is it for now, time to start working on selling the things I need to sell and knocking off a few more items!
I must admit, even if you have no desire to try the challenge, it is really refreshing to go through all of your stuff and make a list of the things you need and a list of what you can do without. Try it!
